The facilities are awesome. Huge beautiful room. It was very relaxing to watch from the pool everyone else down there hurriedly transfering.

I had a 20hr layover with my 8yr old. So this option was PERFECT for someone who didn't want to be exhausted and still have 13hrs of flight time ahead. The pool is gorgeous, the room super comfortable, the staff super nice and efficient. We ate at both the food courts, explored the rainforest as well 😀 A super airport for exploring.

Quiet, resful, private room with very comfortable big king bed, very well-appointed for comfort and safety. Online facility for communicating ETA to hotel, allowing for flexible arrival and departure hours. Excellent service at reception: courteous, prompt, professional, helpful and discreet. All reception staff have excellent English and provide prompt responses to online queries. Easy access to nearby Al Mourjan business lounge, also on level 3. We have booked this hotel several times now. ideal for a refreshing and regenerating stopover on a long-haul flight. Particularly appreciated the noise-proofing, sliding wooden window privacy shutters, low lighting option, kettle with tea and coffee, bottled water, iron and ironing board, safety lock on door, bidet in toilet area and magnifying mirror in bathroom.

The stay at Onyx was exceptional and exceeded all expectations! Such amazing architecture, interior design, so comfortable, quiet, cosy, and the pool and the SPA were an absolute treat. But most importantly, the STAFF were absolutely outstanding. I would like to personally acknowledge Altamash, who greeted us in the room and was incredibly kind and helpful; Charity from Kenya who works at the SPA facilities - Charity went absolutely above and beyond making sure we have everything we need, leading us around, and looked after us so kindly. Michelle at the Spa reception was outstanding and not only super kind and sweet, but also went above and beyond helping us communicate with each other when male and female members of our family went to the separate SPA locations. And last but not least Dimple was so lovely and helpful in the morning when we were checking out, giving extra airport tips. Thank you so much for your kindness and care, we felt absolutely spoilt and already cannot wait to stay with you again.

Bed was comfortable. Had two sinks which was nice, but very minimal counter space surrounding which was inconvenient. Shower was good. Offered two free bottles of water in the room (but the redundant Doha airport security makes you discard any water before boarding). They sent a message the night before with instructions on how to find the hotel, which was quite helpful, as Doha is a huge airport.

Location very convenient in duty free area. We had a seven hour layover in Doha and didn't want to leave the airport with small children. Room perfect and beds extremely comfortable.

Hotel is ideally situated in the central hub of HIA, relatively easy to find. Beds and rooms in general are comfortable and always spotlessly clean. Wifi is good. Unfortunately I've not had the time to ever use the spa or pool facilities, always being in transit for 9 hours or less.

The hotel is very useful for some layover hours as it is in the transfer / gate section. The check in was quick and the personnel is nice, even offering a wake up call. The room was spacious, bed was very comfortable and you get complimentary water. Overall a great stay to recharge after a long flight before the next!
